In the past week, I iterated on my design of the registry page for the podman desktop application.
I transcribed interviews for user research on the podman desktop application and worked on the code review for my Flask application.
I updated the design of the registry page by adding a hamburger menu to every row of the design. This will allow users to add credentials through the menu as well as the Login now link.
Users are now asked to Login instead of adding a credential, this is because we believe this will resonate better with users.
There is now an option to log out/remove a credential on every row. The logout option is to facilitate users with multiple accounts for a particular registry location.
I worked on the code review for my Flask application. I successfully migrated from Python 2.7 to Python 3.10. Now I'm trying to get the google auth working again.
Next Up
I'm waiting for M and the team's feedback on my redesign of the registry page. In the meantime, I will go back to working on the style guide for the podman desktop application. I will also continue improving my Flask application with the code review from A. Finally, I will continue learning UX skills through LinkedIn and the UX communities that I'm now a part of.
